Costa Rica Billfish on the Fly !!!!
After days gone by in the middle of our Peak Season, I am more than proud to announce that our 34ft Sea Lady came in Second Place in the local GIFT Fly Fishing Tournament hosted always by the great people at El Gran Escape Restaurant, held from January 26th thru 29th, these 4 days of fly fishing were amazing thanks to the many Marlin and Sailfish that were around. We ended in Second Place with a Total of 20 Sailfish raised , hooked 4 and released 2., and 12 Marlin raised, hooked 3, realesed 2.
On conventional tackle there has been many releases per day per boat, an average of 4 Sails, 1 Mahi, & 1 Marlin released. Inshore fishing has also started to pick up, with roosterfish, jacks and mackerels around.
